Why do this activity?

How to do this activity

1.Use a bathtub or basin of water and a wash cloth

2.Fill the bathtub or basin with lukewarm water.

3.You can either put your baby in the bathtub or sit him next to the basin of water.

4.Use a washcloth and hand movemements to demonstrate the actions and point out her body parts.

5.Sing the following song.  Adapt the rhythm and words of this song to your favorite beat.

6.As you say the name of the body part say that word louder and touch that body part so that your baby learns to understand the meaning of these words.  Repeat this activity whenever you bathe your baby.
